Get over it, they're not that bad. I might be used to them though, Vagrant always does this. When they sent me the new Alexisonfire it had two of them in some songs.

But I really hope this is better than those EPs. At least more interesting.

Album seems pretty straightforward compared to Vheissu and the EPs. It's good but it's not nearly as interesting or remarkable as the aforementioned albums. Not really sure what to think at this point.

Are you basing that off of Beggars? Because I'd consider The Alchemy Index to be a concept album, so you can't really judge their sound off of that, and nothing before TAI really screamed alt-rock.

Not that Thrice as an alt-rock band would be bad. As far as I am concerned, they have done no wrong so far. Even Dustin's solo stuff is pretty ace.

The EPs were mostly just radio-styled alt.rock too, tbh. Concept or not, the music is what gives them the sound (and the concept was terrible).

Thats good. He has such a strong voice, and it was disappointing to hear him stop taking full advantage of it with Vhiessu and the EPs (even though they were still good)

I'm waiting on Beggars. No matter how good an album is to me, when I downloaded a leaked copy, all the lustre vanished and I ended up not enjoying it as much as I could have.
