A 'recommend me some artists' thread

I've recently taken a liking to Sun Kil Moon. Yes, I did try lastfm but it mainly lists the other most popular indie bands. They were okay but not what I was looking for specifically. I want something quite mellow, nothing too upbeat.

Margot and the Nuclear So and So's is a indie band i've got to know about quite recently. Their album 'The Dust of Retreat (2006)" is really good. Nice and mellow.

Listen to Silversun Pickups aswell, they are a good band aswell, although not too mellow.
