No one is asking the word to be banned and certainly not your freedom of speech. The Huffington Post posted an AP article that is incorrect. Whoever is the fact checker for the AP messed up. Of course you can say or think whatever you want that's what is great about America. It's not a matter of political correctness either just asking for understanding. When you see a dwarf child sob because of some ignorance displayed was was on Celebrity Apprentice it's time to open discussion. Of course you will. The only reason midgets are discontented with a once perfectly acceptable term is because it's been used to describe their disability so much it's become 'poluted'. Eventually this new term will too and they'll want another word that doesn't immediately remind them of the fact that they're different. If people are very insecure about one of their qualities, any word used to describe that quality will eventually become a slur. People will complain about anything that reminds them of their insecurities.

Ya, I guess I was being a little sexist. I said what I said under the assumption that women only play women's sports to prove that they too can play the game. But that isn't necessarily the case...at least not anymore.

Part of me thinks that that was once originally the case though...in which case women's sports would be completely ludicrous considering the games are like half the length of men's sport games - basically defeating the purpose of the creation of women's sports.
