World/Inferno, Mischief Brew, Nanuchka, X, Against Me! (especially the second time), Flatfoot 56 ( always a fun show), Streetlight Manifesto (especially the first time), Defiance Ohio, Gogol Bordello (both times)

Less relevant:
The Residents, Radiohead, Les Claypool (especially first time), They Might Be Giants, Zappa Plays Zappa (especially firs time), Man Man, Sigur Ros, Flaming Lips, The Mountain Goats, Mucca Pazza

Some of those like Mucca Pazza, Man Man and X might just be on there due to how recent they were, but they were all very good.

Maybe its because its fresh in my head, but Gallows was really amazing. I only saw a little bit of their set. But Frank, the lead singer, jumps down into the crowd during part of a song, doesn't miss a beat, and starts swinging his mic stand around around his head in the middle of a mosh pit, basically taking kids out. So maybe they weren't the best live band I've every seen, but this particular incident was quite a spectacle.

But Frank, the lead singer, jumps down into the crowd during part of a song, doesn't miss a beat, and starts swinging his mic stand around around his head in the middle of a mosh pit, basically taking kids out. So maybe they weren't the best live band I've every seen, but this particular incident was quite a spectacle.

it was a hardcore festival called "hardcore [the year]"
and its usually filled up with metalcore/mosh/madball bands
for some reason extortion is playing on it, I personally don't like the genre so I need to sit through hours of breakdowns just to get to extortion, which pretty much worth it. parkway drive and blacklisted is the headliners. Dayglo abortions is playing on the same night, after extortion i fled to them, it was one of the best night.

I can't enjoy A Willhelm Scream, idk.

Forgot to mention how good Animosity and HORSE The Band are live.

Both are incredibly tight for one thing. Both of their singers are absolutely hilarious, as well as the rest of the bands' antics.

HORSE's singer tore the carpet off the stage at The First Unitarian Church in Philly and was screaming about how it wasn't DIY at one point.

Animosity did the whole thing where they pretended to be wiggers, but they turned out to be really nerdy kids. And for some reason Leo changed his vocals and seemed to be emulating Anthony Gunnells from TTEOTD, but with much better lows. Also, they've played the church before, and they knew everyone prefers when the bands play in front of the stage on the floor, unlike HORSE and BTBAM.

Oh and Giants played, and for some reason they had three guitarists at the time and were starting to sound like an Envy/Score One For Safety type emo band. I completely forgot about them, then came across the new album, and then this guitarist/vocalist was no longer in the band and they were post rock again. Kind of disappointing, because the material they played that show was much better than their new album - they need vocals basically.

Just before Kezia was released Protest The Hero had a killer live show. They used to be so tight and rocked out so hard while doing it. Although nowadays they are sorta sloppy and lazy especially the singer.
