People have debated about this over the years but the top two head runners in 90s and beginning 00's pop music were the Backstreet boys and Nsync.
I just wanted to know who is your favorite? I was personally a Backstreet Boys girl. Who were you for? or if you didnt like neither of them?

I always loved both but back in the day I tended to lean towards backstreet boys, less fun and more sappy.

Take That was the group that really started the 90's boy-band trend. They were good though, I mean legit songs that they often wrote themselves.

BSB and Nsync were just the most commercial ones.

When I was in like 4th grade I was a BSB fan :(

I think with a little memory jogging I could still sing every word of "You Are My Fire". I used to sing that song non-stop.

I feel like a homo.

NSYNC were Nike and Backstreet Boys were Adidas.

Nike is way better than Adidas.

If it's any consolation (sp) I think most people our generation were like that and if they tell you otherwise they're just trying to sound cool.

New Kids On The Block started the boy band trend. Take That were the English rip-off of NKOTB.

are you sure there wasn't some sweet underground boy band groups before that which influenced the scene

like, there was probably even a proto-boy band movement that is rarely spoken of

to be dug up by some pop critic years later and championed as influential even though nobody had a clue who they were and certainly didn't give them any money

the dude from Blue could sing ridiculously high. O-Town was amusing when they had their show, but then it just got sad.

NSYNC were Coke, BSB were Pepsi. Coke is better.
NSYNC were McDonalds, BSB were Burger King. McDonalds is better.
