So the new Incubus is actually alright

Listening now about 5 songs in. So far, color me impressed. All songs have been pretty solid. We'll see how the rest go, but does anyone else here have any encounters with this CD that seems to have stepped Incubus out of their shitpile of a last album?

I think it's alright. Not such a huge fan of Black Heart Inertia, but it could be a grower.
I liked Light Grenades actually.

Black Heart Inertia sucks, as do half of the songs on the first disc.
The 2nd disc, however, is full of win.

Science, Make Yourself and Morning View are all brilliant albums. ACLOTM and Light Grenades are good, but not in the same league as the prior 3.

Morning View was good.

I stopped after Crow Left of the Murder...not a bad album, but they just weren't what I was listening to anymore. Great band, though...I have a ton of respect for them. Every member is solid on his respective instrument and Brandon's got a great voice.
