everything you mentioned in there i've always found to be pretty bland as well

except old Touch and Go bands. thats some of the best **** and its not boring

(i'm thinkin like... Slint, Jesus Lizard, Brainiac, Three Mile Pilot, Polvo, Pinback, Albini etc)

i remember i bought a Sebadoh pin because all the other ones were stupid and i remembered hearing their name a couple times on this forum so i figured they were good, but then i listened to Bakesale and was disappointed to hear straight up boring-*** 90's rock

I like Echo and the Bunnymen and listen to them regularly (even saw them at SXSW...they're too old to sing, but they can still act pretentious, so I guess that keeps 'em going). Arches of Loaf had a good album or two. There's more cave-manny stuff to listen to, by all accounts.
