Very excited about this. The Warhammer universe (both 40k and Fantasy) has some really cool backstory to it and can provide one hell of a setting for an action game. Can. Not. Wait.

Not the best quality, but it works. I just REALLY hope they don't try to make this into GoW or something, and incorporate a lot of the back story to the space marines and the warhammer universe in general. Its pretty interesting.

Im ever hopeful - gave up on TT a long time ago, but the amount of backstory and potential for the 40k universe has been largely untapped

they better have you fight against tyranids in this. We've only seen chaos space marines and orks as enemies so far.

^^^^ This. Although I do see the importance of space marines in the 40K universe. How sick would it be for the game to switch between a few armies though? Playing as Imperial Guard or Eldar would be pretty cool.

Yeah Eldar ftw, idk to me they have some of the coolest background stories and such, they're under appreciated.

And Space Marines are important but in like DoW II all the campaign is space marines and the first game was like that too, plus not to mention how much attention they get in the actual game.

Well thats the point of the Imperial Guard, they're supposed to be normal people, not genetically engineered space marine who are Arnold Schwarzenegger clones. Thats why I was drawn to them in the first place. Plus with their new codex they are cheaper and better >:]

I guess if there were an Imperial Guard focused Space Marine in the future you'd probably play as Stormtroopers or Veterans.
