I will be spending nine months in Galway starting in September and i don't know if I will return to Germany after that time or choose another university to continue in the masters program.

So of course i'm trying to figure out a way to bring any drums with me.
I'm thinking about selling my current kit and get a new one once I know where i'll settle for the next few years. This means i'll have to improvise for the next year and a half, since i don't wanna buy a new kit every now and then.

I need to be mobile so the practise-kit has to be space-saving but still emulating somewhat a real kit and so far i was thinking about either getting the "DW Go Anywhere" Practice Kit" or just one of those HQ Practise Pads (Snare and Bass)

What would you recommend or did you experience a similar situation?
Thanks in advance :chug:

This could be a great oppertunity to get some chops with your hands and feet.

I'd definately get a pad and then just use someone kit or something?

Definately, i've read there's a "music society" at the university so i assume there are instruments for use?

Hopefully, i will develop mad chops (or ANY chops at all, some might say :D ) - i was thinking about this pad here for a start:

I'll be in Munich in two weeks so i'll have the chance to check out some of the bigger drum centers and maybe even test some practise kits to see what feels best.
