I've hated Quake IV. but I looooooove QIIIArena. so I had to get Quake Live. have had it for half a year. it's awesome. it is so good at matching up people who are at your skill. one thing that sucks though is no ranked (m)instagib =(

i've played all the quakes and four was excellent, loved the campaign

I hate II and IV. the original and III on the other hand... and playing Quake Live is definitely nothing but an improvement over III online.

I think Quake was the first fps game I started using mouse aim on. it was glorious. LAN with bots my father programmed and stuff.

rise of the triads was one of the best lan based fps with mouse aim games ever

bots have never really been challenging. there is something about human opposition that just brings these games into their own

my dad's bots were very decent at the time. and it was just to make it more crowded we used them.

RotT is pretty awesome too, yeah. it had a great variety of multiplayer action.
