Very nice! Why did you draw on your snare head though, it takes away from its awesomeness :(
How do you like the ec2's? I've never used them before.

Oh and that's a pretty sweet room too btw

That kit has some serious character. I love that setup so much.

Good stuff.

If you keep drawing on your snare ill smash your face, bro. Nice kit otherwise tho.

yeah i used the Mbox to enter the video thread.

love the snare, that head is reaaaally old, i drew on it because this was my gigging snare, i left my MCAN snare at home because it was my pride, so b4 or during a gig i'd get bored and just draw on it. then i had to sell my good snare and keep this one for money and i just haven't replaced the head.

the wood hoops are GREAT, they've probably saved me over 100$ in sticks, they feel great to really lay a fat rimshot on, and the rim clicks are very full, you can get a bunch of different pleasant sounding tones, unlike i find with diecasts where there's only 1 main sweet-spot.

the china IS apart of the set-up, believe it or not, lol, and yeah its really out there, it holds my stick bag mainly but when i need to get a nice trash sound i reach way over.

EC2's are great so far, full tone to them, i haven't really experiemented with the tonal range yet but i have high hopes. i originally bought a round of g1's single ply, cuz i wanted a really wide open full, ringy tone but then i realized they were denting like mad due to hard hitting, so i determied that 2 ply heads are for me, no matter how bad i like that wide open tone. i'm eventually gonna experiement and try and get a nice broad ring, problem with the SuperStar's i've found is to get their most true tone you really need to lay into them, they don't really speak as well at lower volume playing, they're a bold drum and they really suit that hard hitting gospel style shredding.

i'm so glad you appreciate the character to them because it's true, they're kinda a bit outdated, they're the first gen. superstars, the floor tom size sucks but i can make it work lol, i used to hate the high-tension lugs but now i'm abosutely inlove with them, they give the kit such a unique look. however the laquer finish has showed some serious wear, dings, and scraches, i really wish i would've gotten a basic wrap, but w.e!

thanks for looking friends!
