My home-made Speaker

Eh, not exactly drum related, but I just built a 12" speaker from scratch:

As seen in the second picture, I used an extension cable that I cut the ends off and added my own for the hookup to the poweramp.

The best part was when I first hooked it up, it worked right off the bat. No troubleshooting!

looks tight man, what kind of wood did you use for the box?

That look's so much bigger than 12" haha I have one and it is completely different, I made a box for mine too.

standard C/D plywood. Probably pine, I'm not sure. Birch was about $14 more, but eh, I'm cheap.
