loves to jump
loves to glide
down the rainbow
down the slide

make synapses
in the snow
and at night chase
fireflies that glow

but as it goes
as it must be
as it knows
and will agree

the sunny flower
in it's duplicity
has the power
to devour electricity

ha ill tell you why its cuz i loves childrens poems which are often silly and whimsical, but im trying to retrofit them with darker/bleaker/heavier themes which has that strange affect of not seeming serious and grave but actually being serious and grave.

there's a guy you should check out if you havent his name is edward lear, he's a 19th century nonsense poet and wrote a bunch of limericks and sad things expressed really musically and naively. here's one...

I slept — and back to my early days
Did wandering fancy roam,
When my hopes were bright, and my heart was light,
And my own a happy home.

And I dream’d I was young and innocent,
And my brow untrac’d by care,
While my parents smil’d on their darling child,
And breath’d for his weal a prayer.

Once again I was rising before the sun,
For in childhood I was told,
If its earliest ray on my head should play,
It would turn each tress to gold.

I was kneeling again on the grassy knoll,
Where I never may kneel more,
And I pray’d and was blest with that holier rest,
Whose halcyon reign is o’er.

I was sporting again through the fields and flowers,
And felt at each step new joys; –
But I woke with a sigh that e’er memory
Should revive what time destroys.

oh yeah spoonful i like it really i wish more people were into fun poetry and prose being contextually dynamic (if you can gleam some meaning from this idea you are correct)

sort of like a dramatically ironic extrapolative (new words **** ya) workflow
