What is your FAVORITE board game ever? Do you have any that brings back fun memories of you and your family, sitting around the kitchen table or w/e and playing for hours on end?

i had the jumanji board game which went good at times

Monopoly, Risk, Stratego, Axis and Allies, good ol' Checkers, Scrabble and probably Life were the board games I played most growing up.

Now I am pro in Chutes and Ladders, Candyland and Hungry Hungry Hippos. Though Mouse Trap is often fun but truthfully whenever we set out to play by the time the board is fully built the kids just want to play with the traps and don't care about the game itself.

See my dad knew better when we saw a commercial for Mouse Trap. My brother and I were 7 and were like "OMFG LETS GET THAT GAME". My dad was like "Pfft no. You wouldn't care how the game would work and would just play with the traps and break it." He was correct in his assumption. We would've just played with the traps, got bored with it, and broke it somehow.

My brother and I had a knack for breaking things. We once broke the "indestructable" metal Tonka toys. I somehow cracked the Tonka Dumpster's "driver's hub" off.

One of the better games I've played

You get like 5 cards or something, and there's corresponding spots on the board for every card in the deck. Throw down a card and place a chip over top of it on the board for 4 in a row, and you can block and what not

Like connect four but without gravity and has cards woooo

Hungry Hippos, Cluedo, Monopoly, Mousetrap & Buckaroo are all favourites of mine. I haven't played a board game in years though, with the exception of Monopoly. That game rules.

Sorry for the double post but Screwball is awesome, I was trying to remember what that game was called recently, me and a bunch of mates were trying for ages to figure out what it was called as we all had it when we were younger. Cheers for the reminder.

VERY fun game. I haven't played the latest edition though.

I very nearly bought a copy of the latest edition (4th, I think) then remembered my parents have a copy of 1st edition so I just borrowed that instead.
