Prosthetic, paraplegic,
drought upon your eyes,
in disguise, anemic, bulimic;
you make me sick.
Twist the wrist and
slash the life, upon
their eyes lies deceit,
my wife and my car,
but not my disease,
anorexic, infested,
underfed by the world
until it's dead, bled
like a miscarriage, my
first sister, my last brother,
integrity in the tv,
believe me, I've never seen,
they smile for lies or
lie for a smile, lay
down to sleep or
to die, you wouldn't know,
you're blind.
Prosthetic disease, paraplegic,
still on our knees,
faking along, killing
the breeze, drifting
away, living with ease.
Breathe.

I wrote this a few years ago and after rereading it recently decided I still liked it. Comments?

seems like a general social commentary, but there's not anything specific that stays with me after reading.

it has the potential for a wordy flow that is screwed up by a few misplaced words,
but the commentary is over-wrought and melodramatic
