I was 8 and sliced open my middle finger opening a pop top tuna can. It looked like a bloody grape inside, looking at the fat and layers of vessels. Only 6 stitches though.

Almost crushed my skull doing a backflip off the edge of a pool. 7 stitches

Sliced my left index finger open with a stanley knife. not a huge cut and it didn't hurt much at all but it went through the nail from behind which was pretty grim. No stitches, used steristrips instead (according to the nurse, stitches in the ends of fingers don't really work because the tissue can swell up and pop the stitch). Used to hurt quite a bit if I played guitar but I had to practise solidly for about two weeks and now it's grown back some normal tissue \m/

And those prevent-it things sound like bullshit to me. 'There are no accidents'? That's just another example of blame society.

I was 5 and just off training wheels. I tried to do a power slide stop on a bicycle after seeing someone else do it a few days before. I managed to pull the stop on the first try, but I launched myself off the seat and landed on my back on a bunch of jagged rocks.

3 days after i went back to school (still with a broken leg) someone pushed me down some more stairs and i broke both wrists.

Personal injuries are too many to count, but one accident I had was at school when the dude pushed me into the cafeteria door, got my arms caught on both sides and went onto my face from a full sprint . . . pool of blood 6 foot wide & loose teeth, plus a big V-cut that went all the way through my bottom lip and out the other side. Healed up pretty good without stitches.

I fell down a flight of stairs at my school face first and about ten feet and a concrete floor later, I broke both elbows, chipped 3 teeth, recieved 7 stitches in my chin and I am still being treated for severe whiplash 2 years after the fact.

When I was 8 I was running and fell on top of a cement square that raised a few inches off the ground. That sliced open my liver. Had to have an emergency surgery to have it fixed, sort of joined back together. If I wouldn't have been across the street from a hospital when it happened I would have died. While in the hospital I had to endure a tube down my throat and a tube up my penis... I don't even want to remember. Thank God I barely can.

After 15 days in the hospital I got discharged and went home. However, all the internal bleeding caused my the sliced liver went up to my right lung and drowned it. I had the use of only one lung and a lot of pain. Went back to hospital and they stuck sort of a vacuum machine to suck out all the fluid from my lung. After 48 hours of amazing pain the machine was taken out. Took like a year for my lung to recover full capacity.

tore my ACL.That reminds me. I was gonna hit up the football team (as a sort of receiver, since I was fast, agile, and had good hand/eye coordinaiton). Well, this high school never had one. So it was a sort of "Greet n Meet" to anyone that was interested. It was gonna my my final year of high school so I thought "Why not".

During the meet there were a lot of kids passing footballs to each other while the adults wait for kids to stop pouring into the gym. My friend is a horrible passer. He tends to overthrow, or throw off to the side. I turn around and see this ****ing 7 year old bouncing a basketball 8 ft away from me. I notice that the ball is gonna hit the kid in the face so I jump back and jump up. The 7 year old stops bouncing the ball and lets it roll because the football was gonna hit him. So I manage to catch the football. But as I'm landing, the basketball rolls beneath me and I land on it. I roll my ankle and I feel and hear a pop in my ankle. Turns out I tore a ligament in there. Didn't find out until the next day. My ankle swelled up immensely.

Thankfully nothing serious has happened since - pulled a ligament in my ankle a few weeks ago and was on crutches just over a week. Could have been a LOT worse. Also woke up last week whilst I was on holiday and noticed a load of blood on my pillow - evidently I had fallen over at some point and got myself a bit of a gash on my head. Again, especially given my state I could have easily done myself a lot more damage.

probably when i got in a fight with this kid and broke my hand from punching him. i think i broke it on the first punch (bad form, not brute strength) then proceeded to keep on. my hand hurt so bad, swelled up to twice it's size at least, and it healed wrong and sometimes it feels like a nerve is pinched cause it sends a shock up my arm when i move it a certain way.

When I was a toddler I had fallen and hit my head. My mom was doing the dishes or cooking. I was too short and had wanted to see what she was doing so I climbed on the chair. I peered too far forward and fell, hit the corner of my eyesocket, knocked myself out. I have a scar on crease as the eyelids converge on the side of the face.

Anyway, I decide to go down a hill at a fast rate, couldn't stop, bailed and ended up falling into a broken bottle and slicing both my knees to ****. I've still got the scar on my right knee although it's faded a fair bit now.

Probably when I slipped down a hill of iceplant and cracked my head on the cement. I went to the hospital to get stitches. The doctor told me to stay awake, but being like 9 years old, I was sleepy so I fell asleep. I woke up when they were done sewing my head, but in hindsight, I probably should've stayed awake.

I remember being at my friend's house, then nothing, then being in the hospital, even though I was conscious for most of it.

He was running a little close to the edge and the tagger tapped him a little too hard. He lost his balance, fell backwards off the cliff, and died.

I've had to get stitches 3 times, but never more than 8 or so. I sprained on my ankles pretty bad one time but I was just in an air cast for a little bit. The most painful one was probably when I got my finger caught in a door and it swelled up to like 4 times the size it should be but it was all below the last knuckle so its not like putting it in a splint would have helped.

Other than that, even playing sports for like 15 years, and pretty competitively for 4, I've never had an injury. All of the ones I've had were non sports related. I wanna say like 4 or 5 of my teammates had ligament damage in there knees, and one tore the ligaments in his foot to shreds to the point where it almost had to be amputated.

Fell off a bridge, landed on my *** hard and fractured my neck + broke my wrist, was scary stuff sitting in hospital for hours waiting to hear if the docs wanted to operate on my neck or not :/

Apart from that I have a stubby middle finger from where it got slammed in a heavy door and i pulled my arm away and the tip of my finger came off, my index, middle and ring fingers are all about the same length now :/
