So I love Gangstarr and pretty much every DJ Premier beat I have ever heard.
Discuss how awesome this legendary hip hop duo is...

The duo is good.. but I just can't get into Guru fully. Premier is my favorite producer. Hell, even last year, when most hip hop heads were trying to figure out where his charm went.. I still couldn't get enough. I made a mix of some of the best 2008 hip hop tracks and still ended up with 4 Premier productions and an extra scratched verse on it. The dude is legendary.

i don't understand how people can hate on Guru.
literally one of my top five. so ****ing dope. Premier is good in Gangstarr, but he has fallen off as of late. just sounds so recycled its like come on man even RZA is willing to experiment.
I'm gotta admit I've only heard a handful of Gangstarr tracks. It's a shame I haven't checked out more because I really liked what I heard.
You guys got any recommendations?

Daily Operation is their best work, closely followed by Step In The Arena. These are MUST own albums for any hip hop fan
