Nice, I'll check that out. I'm not really familiar with any UK rappers except for S.A.S. (Streets All Salute, did some stuff with Dipset).

Musical Schizophrenia: http://musicalschizophrenia.blogspot.com/
- This is where I found Pax & Pry... lots of jazzy stuff, some stinkers, but solid for the most part
That's the only blog i use that actually posts albums... hip hop fanatic is solid for news, vids, etc.

yeah none of the blogs I go to post albums. No Trivia is mostly analysis, talking about trends in hip hop (the dude has some amazing posts about what he calls "post-lyrical hip hop").
Wildabeast takes the music of Portishead and turns it into a hip-hop smorgasbord of beats and rap lyrics. The tracks are re-mixed so the basic Portishead songs are transformed into trip-hop with soul. Perhaps the best example is “It’s True” which Wildabeast takes the popular “Sour Times”, keeps Gibbon’’s signature line “Nobody loves me, it’s true”, and wraps it in enough electronic and turntable effects to make it his own. In fact, Wildbeast’s rapping is a nice counter-point to Gibbons’ sexy vocals and often leads the listener into the emotional payoff I missed from the original tracks. Wildabeast’s own rap lyrics on tracks like “All for Nothing” and “Machine Gun” remains high quality. I think most Portishead fans will admire these remixes and hip-hop fans will appreciate the journey into new territories.

The album is available in VBR MP3 around 256kbps.

Jay Electronica is the highlight here... i swear, if this guy ever comes out with an album, it's gonna be a classic. Just a 100% dope rapper. I think he produces a lot of his stuff too.

DC Rap presents Diamond District (Oddisee, XO, & YU)

I’m a big fan of all three of these dudes. Everyone knows Oddisee, X.O. has been covering a lot of territory since 2008, but I’m personally happy as **** to hear Y.U. getting some push. I think this is a great mixture of styles and judging from this promo package, the album will be a DMV classic.
Both tracks are masterfully crafted, but the Ol’ Dirty Bastard sample on “Who I Be” cises me up. Your neck can’t refuse a headnod on this banger. “I Mean Business” is an introspective killer. A lot of good imagery infused into a smooth, yet hard track.
“i keep my chin up back straight protect my shoulders, remember what i told ya, imma soldier”

all hip-hop/rap tracks dont have to have 808s..they just need a tightphatt drumline..
then you will be on your way...take some of you trance song and slow them down and see what you come up with..change a few stuff add in and take stuff out..you might already have a few..
listen to most of the releases now..it not alot of change up in the songs..just make music as you hear it in your head..
