Ok, so we have a hip-hop forum, now what?

I was thinking that we could have a few threads...

New releases and review requests on a month by month basis
- ie, anyone is welcome to post up info on release dates and request a review, top post will be edited to contain lists every few days

Yearly thread maintaining user rankings of albums, culminates in a year end vote

pre-2005 weekly listening game/ discussion
- kinda stole this from rym's diction, but modifying for use with classics only... almost no one here knows much about old school hip-hop, so we could pick an album every week to discuss/ listen to/ review


beyond this, i think, eventually, we should split things up by region... ie, the essential hip-hop thread could be separated by east, west, south, and midwest... or progressive... or whatever. i'm gonna start the release schedule thread, so start requesting i suppose.

very good idea. i like the "Free Music" feature on the reviews page, maybe we could transplant something like that here, and do a quarterly feature... compiling all the stuff we find.

i dont know if those all would need stickied, so just do whatever you want i guess.
