I personally don't see why someone shouldn't be an organ donor.

But I know I know... religion and all that.

I'm not because I honestly am afraid of them not trying as hard to save me if something terrible happens, but my family knows my wishes... If I die, they can harvest my organs, I dont care. but Im not getting it put on my license.

Tons of people have told me that the whole 'not trying to save you' thing is a myth, but I dont care.

This. But really in the event that I would die and my family said they could take my organs, the hospital would then hook me back up to a ventilator or do whatever was necessary to keep the organs oxygenated. Which I think is pretty creepy.

I'm not an organ donor, my organs will probably be beyond use by the time I die anyway.
