The first time I saw TTEOTD was ****ing epic, I had no clue who they were, I had only heard bs from non-elite fags about how shitty they are, bad vocals etc, but goddamn their old vocalist was insane.

They suck now, but their original line-up (as in the video) was freaking elite.
It's always best when the bassist is another really good guitarist who also had input in the songwriting process.
Especially when the ideas are so on the same level as Rich, Jeff, and Justin are.

Also, thanks for the shirt. :-*

Sorry for typing TTEOTD instead of Through The Eyes Of The Dead, it gets a bit lengthy.
Protest The Hero is just three words.

The video is with Lynn Strait who was killed in a car accident in1998.
They just got back together last year with Tommy Vex as the new lead singer.

TMV...not because i dislike them (v v favorito band) but because everyone said they were mediocre/bad...tight as a drum (pridgen baffles) and cedric's voice was spot-on throughout (plus he lit a cig before the widow which was B A)

bleeding through, i don't like the band but some friends wanted to see them. they're better live, their cd's sound over produced.
cancer bats, they opened for bleeding through. i thought they're gonna be some shitty "metal"-core band. i actually ended up liking them.

I saw both those band open for Bullet for my Valentine, and I agree with what you said about Bleeding Through I though they were actually really good, however I still don't care for Cancer Bats at all.

yeah it's from that mini summer tour, but bfmv wasn't on the bill. it was an unlisted show they played, before they went to columbus, ohio.
my friends heard of it, so they dragged me along. it was a pretty good show. small crowd though. the vocalist was like "i want you guys moving" then he started staring down a black kid.
i don't like bullet for my valentine or bleeding through. i'm more into cancer bats' genre.

Yeah when I saw the shins my anglofro and beard was so sexy this girl just started making out with me.
True story. No really, it is. I had no idea how to react and got the **** outta there as soon as the show was over like the little poof that I am. I will never forget the look on her face as I scampered away with my tail betwixt my legs. Pure hurt.
Oh I would also like to add Islands and Ha Ha Tonka to the list of bands.
mondo generator were very good

i saw bela fleck and the flecktones a while ago. i know the band wouldn't disappoint but, they always have solo pieces. i thought futureman was going to suck. but he entertained me more than victor wooten.
bela fleck did a ridiculous happy birthday medley for this one lucky kid that sat in the third row.

Both friends' bands, ALAT used to be kinda... yeah, but then they didn't play a show for a while (drummer killed himself), and did a memorial show for him last fall, and holy ****, once they played that show, they were just nuts live.
Now they kicked out their singer and got a new kid who's not nearly as good.
Regret From Ruin... I didn't even know about, they were just at that show, just one guitarist, my one friend from the local LAN center on vocals, and my one friends' little brother on drums... and they were like, holy ****.

I've seen Girl Talk twice, first time was outside during the day and I was exhausted so it sucked. Too many people.
Second time was a little better, but again disappointing. Still too many people. Never gotten up on stage, though.
Last year at Whartscape my friend got thrown out by Dan Deacon because he was so belligerent. We lost him for a day or two after that but he eventually turned up.

This was srs tho, fingers started to shrivel up (like in a bath) and I couldnt breathe well after 20 min, I wouldnt move tho cos I know Id regret it! Had to take off my tshirt on the way home (just wore jumper, not naked) and then had to change all my clothes when I got home before heading back out, also my phone wouldnt slide up quite right the next day.
