And Portland State made it for the second year in a row. They got a 13 seed this year, compared to 16 last year. Beating Gonzaga in Spokane makes a difference apparently.

Nothing to outstanding. Louisville and NC in the finals with NC winning it, WKU over Illinois in the first round, WVU making a run to the elite eight.

I have Dayton getting to the Sweet 16, taking out Kansas in the second round. Probably won't happen but oh well. That's my "cinderella" for the tournament.

MSU could be in good shape if they can force Louisville to play at a half-court game. I have MSU in my Final Four because I don't really trust Louisville.

Same here. I had 13 of 16 right also.

I had BYU beating Texas A&M, Butler beating LSU, and VCU beating UCLA, which I only missed by 1 damn point.

13/16 isn't too bad. I didn't have any of the losing teams going past the 2nd round anyways, so it's not a big deal.

I have UNC winning it all too. I really don't like UNC, but there is such a separation between the top 5 teams and the rest that you kind of have to choose on of them, and at that point, its really a crap shoot.

Minnesota has a white guy named Jamal. That makes them never a dumb pick. A dumb pick is taking VCU because they beat Duke two years ago.

24/28 now. Those last four were pretty much blowouts, but this OSU/Sienna game has me a bit worried. I picked Sienna. We'll see how it goes. The rest of the games tonight shouldn't be much of a problem, besides maybe FSU/Wisconsin.

O well ended the first weekend 26/32. Not to bad. The last I heard I am in 4th place in the pool I am in which is out of 80 people. So yeah not to bad. That may have changed a bit though. Living in Ohio I'm sure tons of people picked OSU to beat Sienna, so that helped me. A lot of people probably picked CSU too, just for the hell of it. I'm not sure though. Anyways, the only team that really hurts me is WVU. Besides that, my sweet 16 is still intact, so thats all I can ask for thus far.

Ok so after realizing that Arizona plays Cleveland State in the second round, I'm kind of glad that Cleveland State beat Wake. I have Arizona getting to the sweet 16, and I think Arizona has a better chance of beating CSU than Wake Forest, so I'd rather get the upset over with in the first round than have to pray for an upset in the 2nd, since I'll get more points with an Arizona win in the second round. So I have Arizona playing Wake Forest, and I'm not really sure why I picked it. I guess you just have to pick a handful of upsets, because you know they are going to happen. But I like the way things turned out.

Sienna is trash, but I'm glad they beat Ohio State, because I hate OSU and I had Sienna winning.

Sucks for Washington. Isaiah Thomas brings them back into the game, Isaiah Thomas puts them right back out of it. Horribly, horribly officiated game, but it was still a good one. Ridiculous touch fouls against Washington but Brockman pushed off on probably 16 of his 17 rebounds, so it balanced out. JuJuan Johnson won that game for Purdue.

My east and south brackets are looking pretty good so far. My midwest and west brackets are screwed though. Considering I had Wake Forest in the Elite 8, Washington in the Final Four, and Missouri losing in the first round. Oops.

I don't know I thought Thomas and Brockman would be able to carry Washington pretty far. I was wrong though, obviously.

Thomas can't finish and he's a mediocre shooter. Brockman is grossly unathletic, so I figured he'd get exposed for that eventually. But they single-handedly kept Washington in the game against Purdue. Granted Brockman should have fouled out a half-dozen times the amount he was pushing off, you have to admire the guy's hustle.

They annihilated Oklahoma and Hansborough barely did anything. After Missouri's showing against Memphis, I really thought they'd make the final four. And I'm kinda shocked that Michigan State beat out Louisville. I think UNC and Villanova should be a great game, but I think Michigan State vs UConn is probably not going to go very well for MSU. It's interesting that they're playing in Detroit though. That could be a significant boost to the team.

yeah, UNC is undoubtedly a more talented team than MSU. you never know, though, although we were a #1 seed last year, we weren't favored to win against UNC or Memphis; pretty much everybody had us dropping off as soon as possible.

I have UNC winning it, but other that, these last few round have been pretty atrocious. I had Mizzou out in the 2nd, and Nova out at the 2nd I think. That didn't help. I had West Virginia and UCLA advancing to the elite 8. I mean, every other year, things like that happen, so you have to anticipate the sleepers. This year, there really weren't any sleepers.

My final four was Memphis, Louisville, UNC, and Pitt. So yeah, I've been out of it for a while. Actually, as of the elite eight, I still had a chance of coming in 3rd overall in my pool, but of course that was gone after the first day of games.

Edit - I'm glad to hear Ed Davis is staying at UNC. Even though next year will be somewhat of a rebuilding year, it'll be nice to have him back.
