quick question would these be worth it I have 60-70$ range I know it's not much but I've had a slight brush with these once and I kindof liked them but it was for a short time... Used the d80 on a bass cab sounded good that's what I'd be using it for and the d70's were actually on toms but I never got to hear those so I'm stuck between this or a shure pg-58...
So can someone give some help on this...
kthx for the help, if any...

It is better to use less good mics than a lot of little mics. Better have a pair of solid overheads and solid bass drum mic than cheap overheads, snare and tom mics and bass mic.

this is why I hate tax returns because until it comes and I spend it I'm going to be going through my wish-list pairing things together to get the perfect combo and I came across those for a decent price so I was like hey might as well check them out...

I forgot to mention I'm not using them for drum micing I'm basically looking for a good bass cab mic and some high freq mics for other odd things, but mostly the bass cab...

Here is what I usually do
Bass>Amp{DI+mic}>Mixer+audio interface>lappy<Mixer<Atmospheric room mic(not always but a good portion
