Goddamn... it was so much fun. We played for an hour, a 14 song set. We ripped. It was also the biggest crowd we've ever played for.
Most of the songs are originals, but our set was:
1. Dr. Strangelove (that war march song [the ants go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah])
2. The Aitch
3. Pleonexia
4. A Modest Proposal
5. Global Food Shortage
6. Everything Is Parasitic
7. Napoleon Solo (At The Drive-In cover)
8. Unholy Brain-Douche
9. Expansion Through Familiarity
10. Madvocate
11. Paper Planes (M.I.A. cover)
12. Omen (new song, third Capital H album material)
13. Dystopical Humour
14. Knowledge (Operation Ivy cover)
People were taking pictures, so I'll try to get my hands on some of those.
I'm just really happy right now and I want to play more shows.
We also got a pretty positive response, although we were one band that really didn't fit in on the bill. We were much louder and more aggressive and energetic than anyone else I heard tonight.
PS. The first band that played opened with Kryptonite by Three Doors Down, and closed with a terrible rendition of Rockin' In The Free World. How sad. And they looked like statues on stage. And the band that played after us souded like Limp Bizkit, and poorly covered the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The made an RHCP medley of Around The World, Give It Away, and Dani California... not good.
Go nuts.
