Line 6 LowDown HD400

Hi,
I'm looking at a new amp for this cab i recently bought, its an Ampeg SVT-1540HE, it has 4x10's and a 15. Anyway, I think this Line 6 LowDown HD400 head would be a really nice fit with me but i cant find any reviews or anything about it anywhere. So I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about it, if its a good buy and whatnot?

imo, don't ruin an ampeg with a line 6.

i just like the fact that it has built in effects, and preset tones. what other heads would you suggest?

I'm a fan of my Carvin head and I will probably rep it until the day I die. I don't like my amp to color my tone - just a graphic EQ to really boost those certain frequencies - and that's exactly what my Carivn does.

I can't be arsed to look up compatibility between your cab and heads, but Ampeg, MarkBass, and GK make great heads with a lot of tonal variety.

I'm not really a fan of the Line 6 guitar amp I have, but I'm not a guitar tone freak and I just use it to throw down tracks. I just notice that the more subtle nuances of the preset tones are lost because they cannot be controlled.

Have you tried out that Line 6 head?

no i tried guitar center but they didnt have one in store.

as for compatibility, the cab is rated for 400 watts/8 ohms at full range and 200 watts/4 ohms each for bi-amp.

Is it a single cab with one 15 and four 10s?
