La Dispute

I saw them in the newest issue of AP magazine when i was browsing through it at the book store today. So I decided to listen to some of their songs and they aren't too great. It really just sounded like a mix between the stilletto formal and trophy scars, nothing special.. and the screams sound like norma jean or something haha.
Doesn't seem like the instrumentals are progressive or using unique time signatures or whatever they claim to be doing.
I mean its not horrible music, just doesn't seem all that great or unique.

hahaha i guess i just wanted to know what the appeal is for others, how a band gets that big!? but i could probably answer that myself.

I wouldn't turn to AP Magazine for suggestions on which bands to listen to for starters. I don't know, everyone has different opinions on bands. I personally don't like them.
