Event Horizon

Has anybody seen this movie? If so, what do you think of it? I'm into horror and gore and this is probably one of the scariest films I've seen. It really gives a glimpse of what might be waiting for us on the other side, the combination of space + hell is pretty terrifying -_-

Its definitely cheesey, but I strangely enjoyed it. Probably because for the sets they pretty much just ripped off Doom.

Two friends of mine were always discussing this as being very scary.

When I finally got around to watching it, it was anything but. Scary to the point where I'm not even sure if I saw it at all (seriously, I can barely remember a thing of it). Pretty cool concept though (...I think...).

remember seeing this in theaters when it first came out. thought it was very good and terrifying upon first viewing. was less impressed upon second viewing but still liked it

i agree first viewing is very important. you may never watch it again....but you will remember it :(

yeah i saw this when i was younger and was terrified lol. rewatch kind of deadened my impression but still Sam Neill ruled in that film.

I remember seeing this when i was younger and it was one of the few films that actually scared the crap outta me! Must watch it again actually.

I hated it. It scared me, but had no resolve, and felt like there was no real social commentary. It was made well though, I'll give it that, and Sam Neill was fascinating to watch.

So yeah I watched it last night and it wasn't really scary or anything but it was a good movie. Easily could have been longer though. They left soooo much up to the imagination.

Yea I was like 10 when I first watched this and the scene where they find the ship's video log showing the previous crew engaging in cannibalism and torture while having anal sex scarred me a lil and every viewing from there on still freaks me out.
