ok so this thread is not on topic with any politics or anything to do with mx but I'm making it so you guys can have another zone to hash out an argument that isn't actually related to the threads topic, have at it!

But if the topic of this thread is "argue about something not related to this thread" then isn't that exactly what we SHOULDN'T be doing in it?
The paradox of this is giving me brain cramps!!!!!

But to start, sewing thread can be easily replaced with dental floss!! As long as the stitch isn't going to be seen, floss is actually a stronger material!

Well if you knew anything about the Tao, you would know it is all about change, so by declaring that threads should not change topics, you are, in fact, going against the Tao.

Tau would be great if their supposed CC experts weren't in fact pansies. SM's always ripped right through my kroot squads :(

Railgunning across the map rocks though.

except that floss usually has some kind of wax coating on it, and little pieces of wax would surely come off and mess up the inner workings of the sewing machine

I did when I made a Ghillie suit (would have been pretty hard to use a sewing machine tbh). I even used floss as it really is stronger.

Sewing on buttons is pretty much hand sewing only.

I also wear jungle issue combat boots sometimes. Canvas upper. Need to stitch them up by hand when they rip.
