He's played on at the music store but wasn't able to get the tone he wanted because it wasn't his gear. He's trying to find out more on the specs of it, get opinions and just trying to learn more about it before he buys it.

I can tell you that the list price is $666 which i'm fairly certain makes it pretty much the most metal bass ever.

I had a soundgear about 6 years ago in that mid price range and it was a piece.

He has about 8 basses, he just couldn't get the tone out of alittle practice amp they use at the store he tried playing it.
