Alright, so it's all happening. You've waited patiently, and you're going to have to wait just a little bit longer. But, you will all be excited to know that the new Capital H album is finally, 100% complete. It has been sent off to the printers and we should have all our albums in less than two weeks.
So you're all sitting here like, "Who the **** is Capital H?" And I bet you're also thinking, "These assholes are still making music?" Yes we are!
We recorded this album through the summer and a bit in the fall, now it will be in our hands, and your hands, very soon.
The album is called Population Control.
Tracklist:
1. The Aitch
2. Everything Is Parasitic
3. Global Food Shortage
4. Two Minutes Hate
5. Expansion Through Familiarity
6. The Madvocate
7. A Modest Proposal
8. Dystopical Humour
9. Pleonexia
10. Unholy Brain Douche
11. Pillosophy
12. Population Control
I'm not going to make any assumptions that anyone will like it, but I'm very proud of it and I look forward to hearing opinions of others who listen to it.
On our ReverbNation page we have a couple of the new songs, which is located here: http://www.reverbnation.com/capitalh
Lyrics for the whole album are available on our MySpace page, located here: http://www.myspace.com/capitalaitch
Thanks for paying attention and if you want an album talk to me and we can figure out payment and shipping. We'll be selling them for 5-10 dollars, get 'em while they're hot.

everything is parasitic - i like how the singer is actually doing something quasi-melodically in some parts. sounds pretty good.

All I can say about the vocals is that they were done as best they could be.
Thanks for the comments. :thumb:
Converting the haters one by one. :p
PS. Anyone in Toronto, we have a show coming up. It's at a place called Duffy's Tavern at Dufferin and Bloor.

If I moved to toronto, could I front your band? I've really been working on my voice.

Probably. We're still looking for someone, albeit less actively, but we'd really like to have someone who can sing well.

As long as I can be creative and don't have to wear tight girly pants and do hXc screams, you've got yourself a new lead singer!
I'd also like to stand in the back and sing while a little kid lip syncs.

Well, we don't have any sort of dress code. And you can be... somewhat creative. You might need to raise your voice and yell a bit here and there, but the better you can sing, the better it'll be. And stand in the back, sure. You'll have to provide your own little kid to lip sync.

I dress fairly normally - shorts and a t-shirt. I can raise my voice and whisper where needed.
However, I must address the little kid as I'm not sure about child labor laws in Canada. If it is within the law, I move that we give the kid 5% (up to $75 max) and split the rest among ourselves. Yes, kind of gimmicky, but we can use the kid a loss-leader to gain extra attention. Plus, after the show, I can tell the sexy womenz that it was my son/daughter (depends on which kid from the lineup gets to work it that evening) on stage and I'm a single parent that is obviously very family-oriented as I try to include my son/daughter in my life whenever possible.
Then I take the sexy womenz to the tour bus.
Then we shag.

You can now purchase a digital copy of the album from http://www.reverbnation.com/capitalh
Or you can wait about a week and a half until we have physical copies and we can figure out how to get it to you, Mr. or Mrs. Listener.

I would like a physical copy.
When it comes to albums, I like to see the art too. God knows good time and money were put into it.

plz stop advertising, it's against forum rules
But srsly. When you get physical copies, I'll buy one. Not totally my cup of tea, but I'll support you guys anyway, and I'll give it a few spins. But only if I get a hand written note from you in it.

Thanks, haha.
I'd love to get my next album pressed into physical copies, but I'd have to have way more made than I know I'd ever be able to sell, so it's not worth it for me.

Well, no, but I'll pay an extra $1 if you do.
I hate when you toy with my emotions like this.
EDIT: If you do include a personalized note, please refrain from drawing pictures of big scary tampons on it. It will only bring back bad memories of people drawing in my senior yearbook.

I'll probably do it even if you don't pay the dollar.
But I could get the whole band to sign it for $5. :D

$4.50 and they have to sign inside of a big block letter "h". Yes, a lowercase h.

Well, we're going to have way more than we know what to do with. It was just the best deal. At least we'll be able to carry them at shows for a long time.
And all the money we make off of them will just go to booking shows or recording the next one in a studio or getting it professionally mixed or mastered. I don't know exactly, but whatever money we make will just go in some sort of band fund.

All letters can be spelled out as words. I learned this by playing lots of Scrabble.
