Setup:
+Pro Tools 7.4 M - Powered
+M - Audio Fast Track Pro
+Yamaha PSR - 225GM
+M - Audio Midi cable (with 3 green lights that represent midi in, midi out, and usb...

So I have the Midis usb plugged into a usb slot giving it power and the Midi out is coming out of the "midi output" on my yamaha. The midi input is going into the midi input on the back of my fast track pro. I open a session and the Midi cable doesnt detect a midi out (the light isn't on that represents it) though it is plugged into my keyboard. Also, I'm really confused on what to use for the inputs and outputs on the midi track. My options for input are:

input>predefined>fast track pro>(All Channels, Channel 1, Channel 2,...)
>USB Uno Midi Interface>(All Channels, Channel 1, Channel 2,...)

The Output options are the same...

as of right now, I have the input set to the Uno USB interface on Channel One, and the output on Fast Track Pro Channel one. When the track is armed, I can press a key on the keyboard and the green input level moves up once, but doesn't on the next couple of hits. If I wait awhile and press the key again, it will move the level. Also, I tried recording. I hit a few keys and only one or two showed up in the display on the track, but no audio can be heard during playback (only the metronome).

the green midi out light is still not on... :(

You're using too many pronouns and not enough nouns/adjectives. I'm not entirely sure what's going on in your setup.

Your setup should look something like this:

Keyboard MIDI Out connected to Fasttrack Pro MIDI In (using a MIDI cable).
Fasttrack Pro connected to computer using USB.

The Uno isn't a cable, it's a MIDI interface for your computer. There's no reason to have both the Uno and the Fasttrack Pro in use at the same time. The MIDI functionality becomes redundant.

Remove the Uno from the setup and replace all the connections with a basic MIDI cable, something like this:

You'll need another one going from the MIDI Out of the Fasttrack to the MIDI In on the keyboard if you want to control your keyboard via computer.
