But yeah, cool band, every song I heard was more or less good. Especially that live one.

I dunno why people bitched as much at this thread. The only bands I said I liked were Thursday, Alexisonfire, early Saosin and early FFAF, agreed that they're popular and mainstreamish but it's not like I said ****ing Alesana or some ****. FFAF''s first EPs (which is what I like by em) ARE post hardcore, Alexisonfire ARE post-hardcore (first two albums moreso)

Even half dissing Thursday's credibility is retarded on so many levels and Saosin's first EP was ****ing awesome. I don't use these forums much and I get lots of info from wikipedia, where all these bands are listed as ****ing post-hardcore. In short, go **** yourselves genre nazis, i'm going to keep referring to these bands as post-hardcore

i didnt like the bands they suggested. if i dont like something i say it sucks, as in, for me it sucks. im sure plenty of people have enjoyed the band, but I didnt like em. as for whoring the bands, i just talk like that. i dont mean "stop trying to get money by suggesting i jack off to these guys"

as for understanding the genre better... meh. i like the bands i like. i mean as long as the ones i listed fall within the genre (they do) its no biggie. hell i like the smiths, i cant expect members of this forum to be my musical brothers anyway

I'm not sure why you edited your post and continued to rant. Anyways, Wikipedia isn't the oracle of the internet and is right about everything. I've found that Wikipedia is wrong from time to time about genres and what bands belong to which. It's funny how are simple suggestions and opinions have you so riled up, it's just the internet dude.
