Steam is having a HUGE holiday sale for those who haven't checked in lately or don't have Steam at all. I never finished Bioshock even halfway so i will be picking up this near classic game for a mere $5!

Other great titles are on sale, too. So check it out. I've been considering a racing game, too. Like Flatout and its sequels all for really cheap

Happy shopping and Merry After Christmas and stuff :)

COD4 and L4D are both 25% off making them 37.50. It's a hard choice between them, but which one should i get?

COD4 is a damn fine FPS. I would buy L4D in a heartbeat, but from the looks of it, it will be unplayed in a couple months unless valve puts out new campaigns regularly.

I have heard a lot of people saying that L4D gets old and repetitive but who knows.

its good. i must say i had a hard time getting into it, but then again i never got more then about 1/4 through it for various reasons. the weapons are good, gameplay is fairly wild, and the things the game have you do and th way its set up is interesting

my complaints against the game were kind of small. the graphics are cartoonish (video game i know but still took some time getting used to it) and the thing seems wacky sometimes. on the other hand its a good shooter, good controls and creative weapons and gameplay, and its "looks" are fairly stunning. well worth playing and checking out. i will be purchasing it and completing it this time around

COD4 is very good. i played it and played it and played it. never online as many did so i can't comment on that, but i'm sure its great.

L4D is nothing but an online game pretty much. and its superb. i can honestly see playing this for a very long time to come. don't know if you played the demo but thats not even half a campaign. and all four campaigns are cool. if you're choosing between those two its a tough choice if you have NEVER played COD4 before, but if you have (maybe a friend or something has it) its easy: Left4Dead is the clear choice. its just crazy and wild and near perfect. and if you do find yourself getting tired of it after a week or so you won't be anymore

this game haunts my dreams :(

its like being in a zombie movie

Yeah I'm gonna get L4D I've played COD4 plenty, my brother has it. I'm also set in the competitive FPS department, because i bought TF2, and the main game I play is a BF2 mod anyway, so L4D will be a great pace change whenever i need one.

Are there any other essential MP games I should buy while i have the chance?
