has really gone downhill

2nd season ruled
so did the third
but the 4th and 5th have sucked hard
but the last two episodes, "surplus" and "morrocan christmas" have been quite good.
the xmas one had probably the best jim prank ever
almost enough to revive faith in the series
but not enough
discuss

idk what you're talking about

i love the office and i love all the seasons

i can't wait to watch the next one, they left us hanging hxc

my favorite pranks on dwight are the ones where jim dresses up and acts like dwight (classic) and when jim puts all of dwights things in the vending machine.

it seems like all the jokes are recycled, micheal's esp.

but the vending machine one is awesome

even if it has gotten a bit formulaic, the Office is still the best mainstream show on right now.

The Pam/Jim story is keeping me entertained for now, but yeah, it has started to slip. I agree with the last episode being a good solid one though. Loved the intro.

And hai nick.

Some episodes are better than others but overall I've enjoyed parts of every season so far, enough for me to say that its my favorite show on tv right now. Thats not saying much though because I don't watch a lot of tv, or at least not a lot of prime time series.

I'd have to disagree though and say that Moroccan Christmas kinda sucked.

Season 4 was terrible outside of Ryan. 5, so far, has been hit or miss. The x-mas episode was a great return to form, can only hope they continue that.

Gervais and Merchant only did 2 seasons of the original Office so it didnt become stale and un-funny. Maybe the creators of the American version should think about bringing it to an end, IMO 5 series of any show is enough.

Hopefully i wont get flamed for this post lol.

the last four seasons of seinfeld were better than the first 5.

Seasons 1-7 of The Shield were all epic.

I guess it depends on the ability of the writers. Aswell as the versatility of the show as a whole. I mean with a show like the office there has to be a point where they run out of ideas.

I think The Office is similar to Entourage... it's just more of the same each season but it's mindless fun.

i havent seen entourage but it doesnt seem similar other than would get repetitive.

I've only seen the first three seasons, but I like the show. Some of the episodes are classic, though Andy is too annoying.

You're in the minority with that opinion. The last two seasons sucked badly due to Larry David leaving. I do agree that the show got better as it went along, but it hit an enormous ****ing drop off with the last couple seasons.

andy is one of my fav characters. you have to embrace the abrasiveness.

i actually like the last two seasons. i think the writing took a different turn, a more zany and absurd turn, but def. not a bad turn. some may argue that the character dynamic was thrown out the window, but i liked the exaggeration.

I just can't do it man. I think he's funny very rarely. He has his moments, but I just can't stand to hear him talk.

That's exactly why people hate it - it stopped being like Seinfeld. I like a few episodes from those seasons here and there, but most of the time, I just think the humor is dumb.

I never thought Steve Carrell was that funny. He's an akward funny. Thr guy who plays Jim is obviously not all too funny -- but I like the rest of them.
