I've got a load of tunes that I want to record for a mini-album, maybe a full one depending on how it goes
this is my project

thing is
those recordings were made with programmed drums
This time I want the whole thing completely raw
But I can't work out whether to use just bongos or a small drum kit or both
I'm not recording james blunt type cack so I definitely need some form of rhythm
Most of the songs are inspired by Brant Bjork so they need that groove impact
Just wondering if anyone has an opinion or if anyone has experimented with acoustic music to know what works best?!
Also any advice on knocking the EP out would be appreciated :)
