I am a huge fan of these guys and Pepper Keenan (both Down and C.O.C & a great guitar player!).

Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Superjoint Ritual and Necrophagia (former member)) is the singer for DOWN and he still kicks ***. It's dirty, raw, and gritty, just like I like it.

That's what I thought when I first started listening to C.O.C... but then I heard Deliverance, Wiseblood, In The Arms of God, America's Volume Dealer... those blow Animosity outta the water. I still like Animosity, it got me into them.

i recently got some DOWN from a friend. i'd been bustng to hear them for ages though, ever since Kirk Windstein was in Revolver. still to listen to all of their stuff though, only put them on Shuffle. i'm about halfway through though.

i still think Phil Anselmo has one of the better voice in Metal as well, even if it is a bit ... one-dimesnional

coming in here and ragging on them kinda makes you as bad as all the tool's who like 1 type of music and bitch about all the rest. you know, the people most of us really dislike ...

Yeah, Down and C.O.C are the ****. I'll always remember the night I heard Albatross for the first time. I'd love to see Down live, that's for damn sure.

Anyone heard any news on the new C.O.C album? I heard they were on hiatus until Pepper is done touring with Down...
