Microphone Mods

can anyone hit me up with some info on mic mods. a website or something. i got my hands on a few extra sm57s and im picking up a bunch of mxl sp1s soon, and id like to try my hand at modding them a little.

i know my way around a soldering iron and stuff, through guitar and pedal work, but not so much microphones.

any info would help.
