Defines metal, eh...? Hmm, I would have to say any song by Black Sabbath (the originators) and, honestly, when people think of metal, the think Metallica or Lamb of God.
So, I would say:
Laid to Rest - Lamb of God
imo

Poopty? lmao
I dunno really. It's hard trying to sum it up in one song.
Looking back on that answer, it might not have been a good choice.
I dislike Metallica a lot and I believe that "metal" was started by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Dio, and Alice Cooper.
So, any one of their songs would work.
And, what's wrong with LOG? They're not bad, but not great, lol.

lol, well, I end up just putting them in the category of metal/death metal/new american heavy metal.
Then I see other people's opinions and I start questioning my own LOG label, lol.
Labels, who needs 'em sometimes... lol
