Those Paistes are sexy. What models are they?

Didn't you have a DW before? What made you decide to switch to the Yammies?

The paiste's are prototypes.
I got
14in t20 alloy hats
20in t20 alloy ride (very bright, shimmery)
20in sig alloy ride (the dirty looking one, sounds amazing)
20in sig alloy "dark energy china" (very loud)

I did have a dw, I've always loved Yamaha though. I had a chance to swap my 3 toms and kick for a new oak cust kit in the silver sparkle, which I love. So I did it. I got the new kit, a set of new heads of my choice and an 8000 double pedal out of my old kick/toms.

The yamaha sounds 5x better.

Nice cymbals good setup and nice drums, just not too keen on the finish! What are the 8ks like, in comparison to the 5's?

Basicly, it's a 9k pedal with a 5k spring system instead of the free floating bearing system the 9 has.
A bit more feel to them then the 9s. Kind of uncommon lately, but I like em'.

I bet that dark energy china is awesome. I've been waiting for them to release one for aages
