So i recently started getting back into drumming, i kinda let it go for a while. I am not living with my drum kit but i do have my trusty practice pad. I am looking for some simple things to kinda retrain myself on not only snare rudiments but also things i can transfer when i get behind my kit again.
any help would be appreciated

Like the two guys above me said, Rudiments. They transfer over directly to your drum set. They are not the funnest but they are the best thing to work on. You could also tap your foot on the ground for the bass and use right hand on the pad for hi hat and left for snare. Basically pretending. That is what I do when it is too late to practice on the set.
If you do that, start rudiments with your left hand, and the pretending with your right. That helps me a lot when I am filling and stuff, your hands don't get locked in to having to play with the right one the eigths.

is it bad of me to want to sit there and practice my Rudi's when i'm watching TV? lol

Nope, I do it... drives everyone in my house crazy. Constantly listening to a practice pad would have a tendency to do that to a non drummer I suppose.
