some good some bad what are your thoughts? for me ian christie's "bloody roots" program is the highlight..the downside is they play the same songs too often and don't give time to some really good bands

What I heard on Sirius back in the day was pretty good, but my tastes vary a bit so I don't want to hear some of the stuff they play on there.

it sucks that they got rid of Hard Attack. some of the guys used to play some great old school ****. i just stick to hiphopnation/shade45/stern/sports now.

My iPod has much better music than Sirius, so I never installed the one I got for Christmas last year.

No because when you get a new one it asks if you want to manually sync or automatically. You always want to do it manually because iTunes is made for retards.

i didn't think they changed up the programming too much when hard attack became liquid metal..but i haven't checked it out in a bit as the cd that was stuck in my deck has been removed and i can listen to cds again :)

It won't delete your music on your computer anyways, whoever told you that was a retard. It would delete music on your iPod if it wasn't exactly the same as what was on your computer and you had it on automatic sync, but that isn't the case. Get a damn iPod.

okay ill try to manually change it cuz i dont want to lose all my tunes :( i wouldn't even know how to put them back

Dude it's the simplest thing ever. If you're that worried then just make copies of everything and put them in another folder somewhere so that iTunes can't mess with them.

i don't think sirius, for all it's faults, really counts as radio...they don't have commercials which changes the dynamic..it can be a good way of discovering new bands

I am 100% anti radio bacause all it plays is untalented musicians who are famous for some stupid reason....i however LOVE XM/Sirius i always heard decent music on there when i had it a while back. I would hear something and go, i have this album!

they play a bunch of stupid sh1t now, when it was on XM is was XMLM i think and it played brutal stuff and now it's a combo of constant opeth and eighties glam

When I lived at home we had Sirius for free through Dish Network but I haven't been home in over a year so I haven't listened since they changed it to Liquid Metal or whatever it is now.
From what I remember of Hard Attack it was mostly the same bands played all day. And I also remember everybody being up Dimebag's/Pantera's a$$ and everybody was also up Roadrunner's a$$.
Bloody Roots, the Ian Christie show was good though! Dude knows a lot.

it's true there is too much of the same bands..i sent scathing email to jose and mario with some suggestions when i was a bit tipsy lol..anyone like "music choice" on cable tv? the metal channel isn't the worst thing i've ever heard..

I think it's stupid to have one metal station, for sirius and for music choice. There is too much to cover. At least do metal and extreme metal or something.
