Using Cubase SX3, and 2 USB Microphones (Rockband mics), would i need any extra hardware to record 2 simultanious tracks?
If extra hardware is needed, what am i looking for/Whats something quite affordable
Just using for recording Jams/Quick demos

to be honest, I'm not sure how USB microphones would work.
Though how you have Cubase SX3 and, like, nothing else is beyond me.

Hate to say it, but over here we're pretty stringent on that. I wouldn't expect much help from any of the masters here.

I think you're being a bit liberal with the term "masters" in this case. So far as I know, nobody who posts here worked on Cubase SX3 or any relevent driver implementation.

what would be the best way about going to record 2 audio tracks without having to purchase any extra hardware then? Outside of using SX3 even.

itll work. it would sound like ****. but itll work.
and unlike seafroggys and moseph, i dont think there is anything wrong with acquiring copies of anything. these companies overcharge us for everything out there, less so with software and more so with hardware, but regardless, youll make it up to the industry as a whole by buying something else youll need eventually.
if you can get audacity for free, there really isnt a reason why cubase should be 400 and a protools digi over a grand.
if i was you, maybe id find myself a cheap usb mixer the more inputs the better, and a couple of other microphones, whether they are xlr, 1/4", good mics cheap mics whatever. even radio shack mics are better than those rockband mics.
but to answer your question, yes, itll work.

Hate to turn this into another debate. I agree that things do cost a lot of money, but there's usually a reason for it. Its expensive to develop a lot of this stuff, and its not like they have a huge market. Unlike Wal-Mart that can trim its margins so low because of volume, audio developers don't have any volume to speak of.
There's also a flip-side....most of the people that pirate software are kids who wouldn't pay for the software anyway, even if they couldn't pirate it. So the companies aren't really losing that much money...but its still wrong.
Besides, there's plenty of OEM and free stuff that kicks ***. Which is all my stuff is.

i've actually had decent quality coming through them (single mic) so far.
i'm recording drum tracks, with a guitarist friend layering over them afterwards.
i wouldnt say they're Shitty for being room miced. i know theres always better, but for a quick demo and such, they're working fine.
the key here is spending little to no money.

To be honest, you should use Audacity, it would be great for what you are doing, and I could probably help you a bit more getting the USB mics to work in that.
Plus, you'd be legit.

Agreed. We already have 2 long-term threads that are far more appropriate regarding IP discussions, and your more recent one. Let's just put a moratorium on this line of arguments in this thread: that's not what it is about.
If there are any questions or arguments regarding my decision, add them to the 100-odd posts in my existing thread.
Regarding the OP's issue: good luck with that. I won't be helping unless you clean up your post history.

use a swifter. they are balla.
i love kids who think anyone with a microphone can make demos and what not. cracks me up. there is a reason they call it audio ENGINEERING kid. you wouldnt just walk into a garage and start re-building a tranny would you. no, youd prob start with a carburetor or something if that.
making decent sounding recordings, just decent, not good, takes time effort and equipment which costs money. and basically you get what you pay for. zero knowledge on the topic, rockband mics, and free software = epic fail.
