Do you mean a torrent client? Transmission is mac compatible and it's pretty decent. I use Deluge. It's available for mac, but you might need the X server to run it, since most Linux devs can't be bothered to do a real Mac port.

Oh, and torrents aren't really that great for music, like everyone said.

I consider myself above the average when it comes to knowledge of computers, and i have good understanding of how search engines work

with that said, i can only find stuff i'm looking for with blogsearch maybe 10% of the time. on top of that, probably around 50% of that stuff is poor quality.

whereas what.cd and waffles i can find 90% of the stuff i'm looking for, and usually have multiple choices as far as the quality i'd like
