I have been using FruityLoops 3 (couldnīt bother trying to learn the newer versions) to create drum tracks for years and I know the program pretty well. I have just heard about leafDrums (http://www.leafdigital.com/software/) and I was wondering how it compares to Fruityloops. Creating drum tracks is such a tedious process that I wouldnīt mind finding something to make it faster -- but not if the features are not as good.

Leafdrums works pretty good. The sound matters, not the program. I use beatcraft because it is more stable than Leafdrums. If you do use Leafdrums make sure to save frequently, as it crashes sometimes.
But yeah, I dig beatcraft.

i think fruityloops is ridiculously easy to use, and can sound great. beatcraft and leafdrums and ez drummer are all alternatives, but i think they are more complicated than FL and just don't sound as good
