As usual, poetry which could end up transformed to song. Will return comments.
Snow glistens in the pale moonlight
A tribute to the might of the starry
Blackness, obscuring the depths
A hideous and frightening sight
Fear remains subdued by routine
Ignoring the unseen monsters
To focus on the brilliant near
Rather than imagine the obscene
Willful acceptance of the norm
Reasonable in the storm before
Nonetheless blinds to the far
Keeping unprepared for the morn
But as the snow falls softly down
In that fateful crown of bliss
Be warned of the fateful ideal
To which you are becoming bound
Snow glistens in the pale moonlight
A tribute to the might of the starry
Blackness, obscuring the depths
A hideous and frightening sight
Fear remains subdued by routine
Ignoring the unseen monsters
To focus on the brilliant near
Rather than imagine the obscene
Willful acceptance of the norm
Reasonable in the storm before
Nonetheless blinds to the far
Keeping unprepared for the morn
But as the snow falls softly down
In that fateful crown of bliss
Be warned of the fateful ideal
To which you are becoming bound
