my interpretation of the title as an English homework. I took it rather literally...
Hearts of Darkness
Driving through the night,
Bristol to Glasgow in 4 hours,
That’s my job; you see,
It’s a heart to heart thing,
Mr. Dependency,
On time – or death,
Minimum traffic,
Minus 40 winks,
Cat’s eyes never brighter,
Than on a rapid dash,
To save a soul,
Hit the road Jack,
The time is ticking…
