Hi Guys,
I've noticed since checking the forums out more that more and more postings here are put on You Tube, but with just still images.
I've tried doing this with a track I recorded recently and I've just found that the audio quality is complete shyte.
My process is this......
* Audio Recorded in Pro Tools on my PC and outputted initially as a WAV 16/22000/stereo track.
* Video made from still images saved as PNG files and imported into Ulead VideoStudio 11.
* The audio is imported into this as a master audio file
* Outputted to various formats and uploaded to You Tube
My problem is, when it uploads, the video quality is okay, but the audio is crap. I've researched into this and a few sites have said that its best to match up the You Tube
Here is the original HiFi MP3 version on Soundclick
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=685713&content=songinfo&songID=6276781
and here is the You Tube version to compare
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71Q_yJy-ZG4
Some of the tracks i've heard on YouTube are in stereo (or partial) but every time I've tried to upload anything it converts it to Mono. Even when I output my master file as Mono, the audio quality is okay on my PC, but when uploaded its really washy and ordinary.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated on how to get the best audio on YouTube.
