Hey, I have a little project with two of my friends, and we recently finished a song called "Tides". At the moment its just an instrumental track.

But if anyone wants to give vocals a go then record some over the top and show me :)
I'm really keen to try out some vocal stuff on this as i haven't got anyone near me that can sing in a suitable way for the song.
Otherwise just let me know what you think :)
Thanks

i really liked this, I don't think you need to worry too much about the vocals, it stands up incredibly well on its own as an instrumental. Keep up the good work:thumb:
Give my latest track a listen if you like and tell me what you think.

Good build up into the song. I really liked how you gradually introduced each element into the music. Overall it flows together quite nicely. It's a nice "moving" piece with the constant rising and falling action.
At first I didn't like the introduction's drumbeat, but when I heard the rest of the song it fits nicely.
Also, when the guitar comes back in at 1:25 sounds funny to me. It's too early to be right on the second beat, but it's too late to be a pickup from previous measure. Other than that it's a beautiful well thought out piece. Keep up the good work. Be sure to post more stuff as you write it.

okay dude, this is really really good, i really liked it. it reminds me of thursday/as cities burn idk. i really would like to record vocals for this, but first, i just want to know if youd mind if i through in some screams as backing vocals on the recording.
edit: could you send me an mp3 so that i can work out vocals and lay them down in good quality?
