hey, so got reason a few weeks ago and been pissing about on it and such. I don't know much music theory, but decided to give it a shot. Tell me what you think about it, how I can make it better etc. I'm still not sure personally about the guitar work I threw in there though.

Because of your name I was hoping for something more in the style of Modest Mouse, but this was cool too. It reminded me of A Warm Place, a track off of The Downward Spiral (NIN), and a couple other Nine Inch Nails instrumental songs off of Further Down the Spiral. You ever give that a listen?

I'd say the guitar work saved the song. The drums grew a little irritating after awhile, nice in the beginning, but not nice enough to stick with so adamantly. All in all I liked it. :thumb:

Well I was originally going for more of a postal service sound, but the guitars completely altered the sound of everything, but I was quite impressed with how it came out.

What would you do differently with the drum beat? I wasn't sure about it either, but couldn't think what to do with it.

Thanks for the listen and telling me what you thought, I really appreciate it. I don't listen to NIN to be honest with you, but will have to check it out now you've said that.

Well I only know one song from The Postal Service, and that's Sleeping In, so I don't know much about it. I don't usually listen to NIN either, but Further Down the Spiral is a good one.

As far as the drums ago, I'm not a drummer, can't offer too much advice. I'd say maybe give it some variation. Slow it down, maybe? Hell if I know.

All the beeps and chirps became a bit monotnous after a while. It has a nice purposeful pace, but I don't really know what to make of it as music. To me it reminds me of the stuff played in the cut scenes of movies and television shows when anxious things are happening.
