Wacky instrumental music!

Hello everyone! I've uploaded two crazy instrumental tunes on my myspace page at www.myspace.com/buzzpetrol! 'The Chase' is funky prog rock tune with a long guitar solo. The other, 'Teenyboppers', is a nice hard-rocking song with lots of guitar. Hope to hear some comments!

hey, i listened to The Chase. well, it was indeed fairly wacky, and i've gotta say, you're a pretty great guitarist... well done! i can see that your time and practice has really paid off. i'm sure that makes for good shows, i bet you could just loop a progression like that and just solo for a while and people would love it. my favorite part was around 1:34 when the song skipped a couple times, because it's the part that violated my expectations the most. you should really try to find some people at your conservatory that play brass and piano and such to back you as a live band, and would even suggest re-recording the song with live instruments. that would be my biggest critique, simply the voices that you used for the music- it reminds me of a Casio keyboard demo. that being said, the music itself i enjoyed and was creative. the way that you use voices sparsely at times to only play one particular note or whatever at a time and then hold, made for an interesting overall aesthetic where the progression was being carried by many voices instead of one... makes it more colorful. again, i implore you to find people at your conservatory, show them this, and see if they'd have the time to perform with you, maybe offer a portion of ticket sales if you don't do free performances. anyways, well done!

Hey, thanks for the great comment! Lots of good points there! I would love to play those songs with a real band. I just need to find the right players.. people who dig that kind of perv stuff.
